Week 6

This week, we attended the Focused ED Webinar. 

 The first seminar I attended was the Digital Classroom for K-7. I thought the seminar was good, however it was focusing on a lot of the resources we had already learned about in this class. We learned about different online technology resources such as KnowBC and ProQuest. I was really familiar with ProQuest, as we had used it throughout high school to do research for our essays, especially in grade 12. It was interesting as well to see the different worldbooks and how they benefit students.  

For my second seminar, I had chosen to attend TWIG + ClickView 6-9. However, the zoom link didn’t work, and I was not sent a new one until after the session was done, so I could not attend.  

Overall, I thought the session that I could attend was really good, and I think it gives us a good insight into what a PD Day will look like in the future.
